Fortnite Cheat Codes: All Admin Panel & Lobby Hack Codes (Season 4)

Override leans hard into a 'hacking' theme, and cheat codes are the headline mechanic. There are two completely separate systems — one in the lobby, one in matches — and it's easy to confuse them. Here's exactly how each works, plus every verified Admin Panel code live right now.

1. Admin Panel (Lobby Hack) codes — how to enter

From the Battle Royale lobby, open the Admin Panel in the top-right corner (or the button prompt on console) and type a code. Codes are not case-sensitive and, so far, have no announced expiry — but redeem early anyway. They grant Sprites, Sprite Dust, Gizmos, and cosmetic transforms.

Sprite Dust codes (2,000 Dust each)

2. In-match Cheat Code Chests — how to open them

This is a different system entirely. Cheat Code Chests replaced the old Sprite Chests and sit at fixed spots around the island. Interact with one and it shows a sequence of arrows; enter them with your movement inputs — forward is up, back is down, left and right as shown. Get the sequence right and the chest pops out a random Sprite. The chest colour sets the rarity floor:

• Blue Cheat Code Chest — Rare Sprite
• Purple Cheat Code Chest — Epic Sprite
• Gold Cheat Code Chest — Legendary Sprite

Regular chests still have a low chance to contain a Sprite. Run a Cheat Code Locator early to mark nearby chests on your route, and remember to bank what you catch at an Extraction Site or with a Portable Extractor before you die — unextracted Sprites don't count. Note the Cheat Master variants specifically come from these codes/chests, not from summoning.

Do cheat codes affect drop rates?

Only during events. Epic has not published Season 4 drop rates, and codes don't change them — but Golden Hours (Aug 22, 2–4 PM & 9–11 PM ET) boost the chance of Gold Sprite variants dropping from chests and Cheat Code Chests.
