Sprite Mastery & Leveling (Unlock the Quack Variant)
You master a Sprite by taking it to Level 5 and extracting it. Sprites level 1→5 from opening chests, eliminations and extracting duplicates. Mastery is permanent and unlocks edit styles. Reaching mastery milestones across many Sprites unlocks the special Quack variants for Water, Earth, Fire and Zero Point.
Leveling a Sprite 1 → 5
Every Sprite levels from 1 to 5 as you play with it equipped. Progress comes from opening chests, getting eliminations, and extracting duplicates of that Sprite.
Levels make the ability stronger. For example, the Water Sprite restores 2 Shield per tick at Level 1 and 6 at Level 5; the King Sprite's bonus pickaxe damage climbs from +30 to +120.
How to master a Sprite
To master a Sprite you must reach Level 5 and then extract it. Dying before you extract a Level 5 Sprite does not count, so bank it as soon as it hits max.
Mastery is permanent and unlocks the Sprite's customization. A mastered Sprite lost in a match can be re-summoned with Sprite Dust.
Unlocking the Quack variants
Quack is a special mastery-reward variant — it shares 50% of the XP it earns with every other Sprite you own, so it accelerates your whole collection.
Quack variants are gated behind total mastery milestones rather than chest luck. Community testing points to these thresholds:
- Master 35 Sprites → Quack Water
- Master 40 Sprites → Quack Earth
- Master 45 Sprites → Quack Fire
- Master 55 Sprites → Quack Zero Point (the rarest chase in the game)
